Additional information: Private in the Fifteenth Infantry, Reservist. Escaped from custody in Castle, AB on 1916-Oct-24 and 1916-Oct-30, returned voluntarily. Said to be suffering with delusional insanity since his internment at Banff in 1917-May. In early 1917-Mar he assualted another internee with a stick of wood. Afterwards he was declared insane by a Medical Officer and turned over to the Provincial Police in Calgary. Was a patient in the Ponoka Asylum from 1917-Apr-26 to 1918-May.
